Airwolf (Seasons 1–4)
A New Kind of Weapon. A New Kind of Hero.
Synopsis
Airwolf (1984) is the American action series you can watch online on iFILM. At its heart sits a supersonic, missile-armed attack helicopter — stolen by one of its own designers and flown off to Libya. Recovering it falls to the one man who can really handle the machine.
That man is Stringfellow Hawke (Jan-Michael Vincent), a loner who agrees to fly for a shadowy agency for a single reason: to find the brother he lost in Vietnam. At his side is veteran pilot Dominic Santini, and Ernest Borgnine plays that gruff fatherly role so well you buy every line. Each episode is its own mission — hostages, dictators, traitors buried inside "the Firm."
The show came from Donald Bellisario, who would later create JAG and NCIS, and you can feel his trademark mix of hardware, loyalty, and a theme tune fans recognize from the first few bars. Today it plays as pure 1980s comfort viewing: a little dated, but flying a real helicopter instead of CGI. It's for anyone who misses analog action. Stream every season of Airwolf online on iFILM.
