Grave Halloween (2013) — watch online the Canadian horror TV movie directed by Steven R. Monroe. A group of American exchange students in Japan heads into Aokigahara — the dense forest at the base of Mount Fuji that has carried a grim reputation for centuries — to shoot a documentary.

One of them, Mayu, came for a different reason: her mother died in this forest, and Mayu wants to bring her body home. The others came for footage. Neither plan survives contact with whatever the forest holds. Monroe works within clear TV-movie constraints, but Aokigahara carries its own weight — the location's real history is disturbing enough that even a modest production can lean on it.
