Good Burger

Good Burger (1997) is a family comedy you can watch online on iFILM. Director Brian Robbins built a full feature out of a recurring sketch from Nickelodeon's All That. The setup: one hot L.A. summer, two teenage jobs, and a tiny burger stand about to go under.

Ed is the spacey cashier who accidentally invents a sauce everyone wants. Dexter takes the job next to him to pay off a teacher's wrecked car. Then a corporate burger chain opens across the street, and the two have to save Good Burger while figuring out who's been spiking the rival's food. Kel Mitchell and Kenan Thompson carry it as the same duo fans knew from sketch TV, with Sinbad and a very young Linda Cardellini in the mix.

The whole thing runs on Mitchell and Thompson's chemistry and a goofy, no-irony sense of humor aimed squarely at kids. It landed with the nineties crowd and still plays as a comfort watch, Shaquille O'Neal cameo and all. Stream Good Burger (1997) online on iFILM.
