Synopsis

Rory (Bradley Cooper) stumbles on an old manuscript, types it out as his own, and watches the praise pour in. Awards, deals, a proud wife in Dora (Zoe Saldana). Then an old man (Jeremy Irons) sits beside him on a park bench and starts telling him exactly whose life that book came from. Directors Brian Klugman and Lee Sternthal nest the plot in three layers, one story folded inside the next, each one bleeding into the one above it.
Dennis Quaid, Olivia Wilde and J.K. Simmons round out the cast. This isn't a whodunit about a stolen book — it's about what it costs to wear another man's life as your own, and how little of it you can ever give back.
