Synopsis

Billy has thrown his lot in with English rancher John Tunstall against Major Murphy and the House — but the men pulling the strings are the Santa Fe Ring, and they have deeper pockets than anyone. Tunstall goes down early to a smallpox outbreak, leaving Billy and the Regulators to improvise. Billy's plan is blunt: take Lincoln, hold it, force an end. His oldest friend Jesse Evans now rides against him. In the gaps between firefights there's Dulcinea — the one thing outside the war he keeps almost losing.
