Johnny Bravo (1997) is the Cartoon Network comedy you can watch online on iFILM. Picture a wall of muscle with an Elvis pompadour, dark shades, and an unshakable belief that no woman alive can resist him. The world keeps proving otherwise.

Johnny lives with his mom in Aron City and treats himself as heaven's gift to every girl on the planet. The catch: his brain is a lot smaller than his biceps. He flexes, he flashes his karate "Hooah!", and by the end of each short he's been outsmarted by aliens, robots, a gorilla, or simply by a woman who tired of him in about ten seconds. Jeff Bennett voices the guy, and that smug, gravelly delivery is half of why the character stuck.

Created by Van Partible from a student short, the show ran alongside Dexter's Laboratory and Cow and Chicken during Cartoon Network's late-90s peak. The whole engine is one reliable joke: the more certain Johnny is of his charm, the harder he faces a wall.
