The Little Mermaid (1992) is Walt Disney's animated TV series you can watch online on iFILM. It rewinds to before the 1989 movie: Ariel is still a teenage mermaid with her tail, her voice, and a bottomless curiosity about the human world above the waves.

Every episode is a standalone adventure under the Atlantic. Ariel slips away from her father King Triton's palace, pokes around shipwrecks, rescues sea creatures, and lands in trouble alongside Sebastian the crab and Flounder the fish. The sea witch Ursula turns up to stir things now and then. Several film actors returned for the show, including Jodi Benson as Ariel, Samuel E. Wright as Sebastian, and Kenneth Mars as Triton, so it plays like an easy extension of the fairy tale.
