Three young mermaids, Sirena, Nixie and Lyla, let their guard down on the night of a full moon, and an ordinary teenager named Zac slips into the pool. By morning he has a tail and the power to bend water to his will. As punishment, the pod casts the three girls out, and their only way back is to grow legs, walk on land, and strip Zac of his new abilities. The trouble is they have no idea how humans live, so every trip to school or the fridge turns into comedy.

Shot along the sunny Gold Coast, the show leans on its underwater transformation scenes, which are the real draw. The cast features a young Lucy Fry and Chai Hansen.
