Pucca (Seasons 1–2)

Pucca (2006) is an animated family series you can watch online on iFILM, produced across Canada, the UK and South Korea and based on the Flash animation characters created by Vooz Character Systems. The story is set in Sooga Village, where a girl named Pucca is completely, unstoppably devoted to a quiet ninja named Garu.

Garu trains, stays silent and wants nothing to do with romance. Pucca disagrees — loudly and persistently. When they're not chasing each other around the village, the two end up dealing with rival ninja clans and the kind of chaotic disasters that only happen in places like Sooga. Director Greg Sullivan keeps the pace short and punchy, with fight gags that owe more to Looney Tunes than to any shonen anime. The voice cast includes Michael Dobson, Brian Dobson and Maurice LaMarche.

Aimed at younger viewers but built on enough comic energy to hold older audiences who grew up on early 2000s web animation. Watch Pucca (2006) online on iFILM.
