Powder

Powder (1995) is Victor Salva's fantasy drama, and you can watch it online on iFILM. An albino teenager with chalk-white skin and a shaved head has spent his whole life hidden in a farmhouse cellar by his grandfather. When the old man dies, the boy is pulled into an ordinary school, where everyone instantly brands him an outsider nicknamed Powder.

Jeremy is more than odd-looking. He's a genius who reads minds, and he draws lightning and metal toward him like a living magnet. Sean Patrick Flanery plays him soft-spoken and exposed, surrounded by a teacher (Mary Steenburgen), a school psychologist (Jeff Goldblum) and a hard-edged sheriff (Lance Henriksen), each deciding in their own way whether he's a freak of nature or the next rung on the evolutionary ladder. Cruelty from his classmates runs right alongside glimpses of something genuinely miraculous.
