Synopsis
The Mighty Ducks (1992) is Stephen Herek's family sports comedy you can watch online on iFILM. Cocky lawyer Gordon Bombay gets busted for drunk driving, and the court hands him community service: coaching a kids' hockey team, the worst one in the league.
Emilio Estevez plays Bombay, a former rink kid still carrying a grudge against his own old coach. His players can barely stay upright and keep missing open nets, but he gives them a name — the Ducks — and slowly starts to care. Among the young roster are faces you'll recognize later, including a teenage Joshua Jackson as Charlie and Marguerite Moreau. It's the cozy kind of movie where a grown-up teaches the kids and ends up fixing himself in the process.
