BURN·E

BURN·E (2008) is a Pixar short you can watch online on iFILM — an eight-minute side story set during WALL·E, this time following a small welding robot from the starliner Axiom.

While WALL·E and EVE chase the main plot, hardworking BURN·E is outside replacing a busted floodlight when he gets accidentally locked out of the ship. From there a one-job task spirals into disaster after disaster, and every attempt to get back inside goes hilariously wrong.

Directed by Angus MacLane, it's an almost wordless comedy of bad luck built on timing, the expressions of a single lamp-eye, and one robot's refusal to quit. A perfect little chaser if you loved WALL·E and want a few more minutes in that world. Stream BURN·E (2008) online on iFILM.
