Synopsis
The Marine (2006) is John Bonito's action movie starring John Cena you can watch online on iFILM. Discharged from the Corps against his will, Sergeant John Triton comes home from Iraq hoping for a quiet life. It doesn't last.
At a backwoods gas station in South Carolina, a gang of diamond thieves fleeing a heist grabs his wife Kate and takes off. Their leader, Rome, played with smirking calm by Robert Patrick, clearly enjoys the chaos he causes. Triton tears after them through swamps and pine forest, and the film becomes one long string of explosions, shootouts and totaled vehicles. Cena, then a WWE headliner, carries it on sheer physicality and stubbornness rather than dialogue.
There's no pretense here: it's a WWE Studios production built for raw momentum and fists. The plot is mostly an excuse to set up the next fireball, and the movie knows it.
