Synopsis
The ABCs of Death (2013) is the horror anthology you can watch online on iFILM. Twenty-six directors, twenty-six letters, twenty-six ways to die. The setup is gleefully simple: each filmmaker drew a letter, picked their own word to go with it, and got total freedom from there.
The result is wildly uneven by design. You get claymation gore, Japanese splatter excess, quiet dread, flat-out absurdity, all crammed into a single feature. Genre names you'll recognize handle individual chapters — Ti West, Ben Wheatley, Adam Wingard, Xavier Gens, Nacho Vigalondo, Srđan Spasojević. The only rule binding them together: somebody dies before the segment ends.
Treat it less like a movie and more like a grab bag. Some shorts land hard, others you'll fast-forward, and that swing is the whole point. Across 110 minutes you get a snapshot of where world horror stood in the early 2010s, from art-house to pure trash, with no filter in between. Perfect for festival-horror diehards and anyone who likes their scares in short bursts. Stream The ABCs of Death (2013) online on iFILM.
