Fifteen-year-old Eli Shane heads underground to take up the legacy of his missing father, once Slugterra's greatest protector. All he has is a blaster and a handful of slugs led by his loyal infurnous, Burpy. Standing against him is Dr. Blakk, who drains the slugs of their light and twists them into something dark. Eli builds a crew, learns the art of slugslinging duels, and chases the truth about what happened to his dad.
