The two grow close, but Catch carries a heavy secret, and his silence and his kindness both trace back to the same buried tragedy he can't bring himself to name.

The film lives on the chemistry between its leads and builds romance out of grief rather than flirtation. Lopez plays it tougher and quieter than usual, and it suits her.
