Former athlete and dealer Jimmy Keene gets a deal he can't refuse: transfer into a maximum-security unit, get close to suspected serial murderer Larry Hall, and coax a confession out of him before Hall's conviction is overturned. Pull it off and he walks free. Taron Egerton plays Jimmy as a slick operator who slowly realizes his target is the smarter man. Paul Walter Hauser makes Hall soft-spoken, pitiable and utterly terrifying. The cast also includes Greg Kinnear and Ray Liotta in one of his final roles.
