1923 is the Western drama from Yellowstone creator Taylor Sheridan, and you can watch every episode online on iFILM. The second Dutton prequel drops the family into a brutal stretch of the early twentieth century: Prohibition, the long shadow of World War I, and a drought scorching Montana dry.

The ranch is run by Jacob and Cara Dutton, played by Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren in their first project together. Cattle vanish, sheep ranchers crowd the grazing land, and the fight over territory gets settled with rifles more often than courts. A second thread follows Spencer, the youngest Dutton, hunting big game in Africa to outrun what the trenches did to him. The hardest strand of all runs through a government boarding school where young Teonna is stripped of everything she is.

Sheridan refuses the cozy frontier myth here, building the West out of disease, mud and violence against Native communities. Big-budget vistas, a sprawling cast, and two screen heavyweights anchoring it make this worth a look even if Yellowstone passed you by. Stream 1923 online on iFILM.
