Synopsis
Rampage (2009) is Uwe Boll's brutal crime thriller, and you can watch online on iFILM. Bill Williamson, an ordinary guy from a dead-end town, straps on homemade body armor one morning, grabs his guns, and walks out to kill.
Small-town tedium gnaws at Bill, played by Brendan Fletcher, until something inside finally snaps. He blames everything on the wider world (recession, overpopulation, the grim news cycle) and decides to fix it his own way. Boll shoots the slaughter with a shaky handheld camera and hands the narration to the shooter himself, which strips out any heroism and leaves a cold sense of realism. At a lean 85 minutes, the film offers neither a breather nor any moral comfort.
This is arguably the meanest and most controlled work from a director critics love to mock, an icy portrait of homegrown terror that many called the one genuinely strong film Boll ever made. Not for the squeamish. Stream Rampage (2009) online on iFILM.
