Synopsis
Hawaiian Holiday (1937) is a Disney animated short you can watch online on iFILM. Eight minutes, four characters, one beach. Mickey and the gang take a trip to the islands, and each of them finds trouble in his own way.
Mickey strums a guitar, Donald tries hula dancing in a grass skirt, and Goofy grabs a surfboard for a losing battle with the waves. Pluto, meanwhile, picks a fight with crabs and a very uncooperative starfish. Directed by Ben Sharpsteen, it's a hand-drawn gag reel from Disney's golden age — no real plot, just music, slapstick and four personalities bouncing off each other.
