Ghost Killer

Ghost Killer (2025) is a Japanese action-fantasy with a streak of dark comedy, and you can watch online on iFILM. Contract killer Kudo gets gunned down, but death doesn't stick — his spirit lands inside the nearest available body, that of college student Fumika.

The arrangement is as absurd as it sounds. Kudo knows how to fight, shoot and track a target; Fumika is an ordinary young woman now stuck carrying a dead assassin around in her head. To be rid of him, she has to help finish the revenge his murder cut short. So a timid student becomes the weapon a stone-cold hitman steers through the brawls he never lived to win. Akari Takaishi and Maria Kuroha take the leads.

Director Kensuke Sonomura is known for brutal close-quarters choreography, and the fights bite hard while the tone keeps tipping into farce. Tagged "Two souls.
