Synopsis
The Woman in the Line (La mujer de la fila, 2025) is an Argentine drama you can watch online on iFILM. Natalia Oreiro plays Andrea, a comfortable middle-class woman whose life caves in overnight when her eighteen-year-old son is jailed for a crime he did not commit.
What follows are the prison-gate queues the title points to. The other mothers in line size up the newcomer with suspicion, then slowly let her in. Andrea learns to speak the language of court clerks, watches how inmates are treated, and finds her own old assumptions about who ends up behind bars falling apart. The story grows out of the real experience of Andrea Casamento, directed by Benjamín Ávila.
