Synopsis
Sketch Artist (1992) is an American crime thriller you can watch online on iFILM. Jack is a forensic artist for the police — he sits with witnesses and draws the faces they describe. After a fashion designer is murdered, the sole witness gives him a careful, detailed account of who she saw leaving the scene.
Jack finishes the drawing. The face is his wife's. Instead of handing the sketch to his colleagues, he buries it, draws a different portrait for the case file, and starts investigating on his own. He isn't certain she's innocent. He isn't ready to conclude she isn't. The film runs entirely on that tension — a man trying to stay one step ahead of a case that's closing in on him. Jeff Fahey leads, Sean Young plays the wife, and Drew Barrymore appears in an early supporting role. Directed by Phedon Papamichael.
