Synopsis
Moss & Freud (2026) is a British biographical drama directed by James Lucas — watch online on iFILM. Ellie Bamber plays Kate Moss at the height of her fame; Derek Jacobi takes on Lucian Freud, the painter who carried one of the twentieth century's most loaded surnames. The year is 2002, and Moss is on every magazine cover in the world.
She still feels invisible as herself. When Freud invites her to sit for a portrait, she agrees half on instinct, half as a test. His sessions are unhurried and relentless. Each one chips away a little more of the persona she spent a decade building. Being undressed for a camera is one thing; being quietly studied, week after week, by a man who paints what he actually sees in front of him — that is something else.
The portrait Freud completed became one of the most discussed large-scale nudes of his late career. The film treats the sittings as the point where two very different kinds of celebrity briefly shared the same room. Stream Moss & Freud (2026) online on iFILM.
