Russkiy Tranzit (1994) is a Russian crime-action series available to watch online on iFILM, starring Yevgeny Sidikhin as Boyarov — a martial artist shoved to the margins by the Soviet system and pulled into Leningrad's criminal world.
In 1981 the Party banned karate. Boyarov had a fourth-degree black belt and was teaching it; the ban cost him everything. He survived Afghanistan on skill alone. By the early 1990s he was working the door at a Leningrad bar. Then the police came: extortion, arson, the murder of an antiques dealer. Someone wants him buried, and the law is being used as the shovel.
