Synopsis
"The Road Killers" (1994) is a highway thriller you can watch online on iFILM. Director Deran Sarafian keeps it lean: a family split between two cars on a cross-country drive from Wisconsin to San Diego, one bad encounter with a maniac on the road, and no clean way out.
When Glenn tries to confront the driver who nearly ran them over, the situation escalates fast — the children are taken, the demands are ugly. Christopher Lambert and Craig Sheffer anchor the adult side of the conflict, while a young Josh Brolin and Joseph Gordon-Levitt are among the kids caught in the middle. At 89 minutes and rated R, the film earns its tension not from gore but from the specific dread of ordinary people completely out of their depth against someone with nothing to lose.
