Junior and Karlson

Junior and Karlson (1968) is the beloved Soviet animated short you can watch online on iFILM — director Boris Stepantsev's adaptation of Astrid Lindgren's first Karlsson book.

Malysh is the youngest in a Stockholm apartment, overlooked and desperate for a dog. What turns up instead is Karlson: a round, self-satisfied man with a propeller on his back who lives on the roof and declares himself the world's best at everything. He is, in practice, the world's best at causing chaos and making Malysh take the blame.
