Velayudham (2011), billed as The Ultimate Weapon, is a Tamil action film you can watch online on iFILM. Director Mohan Raja builds the plot around a clever double identity: journalist Bharati, escaping a Chennai crime syndicate, invents a fictional vigilante named Velayudham — a hero who supposedly hunts down criminals — and the underworld believes the story.

Meanwhile, a cheerful village guy named Velu shows up in the city for his sister's wedding and accidentally ends up at ground zero of a terrorist bombing at the railway station. Tamil superstar Vijay plays Velu with a light comic touch that flips into full action mode when the plot demands it, with Genelia D'Souza and Hansika Motwani rounding out the lead trio.
