Synopsis

The series runs in near real-time: cooling systems fail, three reactors edge toward meltdown, and the plant's director and crew attempt to manage a situation that no emergency protocol had anticipated. Outside the fence, government officials and military commanders are running their own parallel operation — over what to disclose, who holds responsibility, and which actions will later be called heroic and which criminal.
What sets THE DAYS apart from disaster television is refusal. No last-second saves, no cathartic resolution.
