Synopsis
Miles and Lies (Tangos, tequilas, y algunas mentiras, 2023) is a Mexican romantic comedy you can watch online on iFILM. Lu has a perfect life, or at least she works hard to make everyone believe she does. The act gets tested when she crosses paths with Diego, a handsome, hot-tempered Argentinian passing through Mexico.
A bet with her friends pushes things over the edge. Sure she can make Diego fall for her, Lu pulls every trick to win the wager, and the chase eventually sends her all the way to Argentina to track him down. The more her little lies pile up, the harder her flawless image is to hold together. Director Celso R. García keeps the mood light, while Cassandra Sánchez Navarro and David Chocarro handle the romantic spark.
