The Aristocratic White Mice commissioned the Creatures Who Dwell Under the Oak to make the most beautiful doll in the world. The Creatures finished it. They kept it. The Mice stole it back. What follows is a nearly wordless revenge fable built on atmosphere and dread — blood tea, ritual, and a red string that appears and reappears throughout.
