Synopsis
Barbie Mariposa (2008) is an animated family fantasy you can watch online on iFILM. Mariposa, a bookish butterfly fairy, dreams of seeing the world beyond her home of Flutterfield.
When the wicked fairy Henna poisons the queen, the magical light that shields the kingdom begins to fade. The prince sends Mariposa and her friends to fetch an antidote from the Lost Land, a journey that runs through a perilous underwater realm. The shy daydreamer has to trust herself and grow into a real leader. Directed by Conrad Helten, with Chiara Zanni voicing the heroine, it's seventy-five minutes of bright wings, friendship and adventure aimed at the youngest viewers.
