Synopsis
Double Pregnant (Doblemente embarazada, 2019) is a Mexican comedy you can watch online on iFILM. The whole premise rests on a rare medical fluke: a woman is carrying twins, but each baby has a different father. One is her fiancé's, the other belongs to an ex. Maite Perroni takes the lead.
From there María's life turns into one long stretch of awkwardness. Both men are around, both are gearing up for fatherhood, and neither has any idea how the math actually works. The longer she sits on the truth, the harder the knot is to untangle. Director Koko Stambuk keeps the tone light and faintly absurd, never reaching for real drama.
