Synopsis
Kill for Me (2013) is a tight Canadian thriller you can watch online on iFILM. Six months after her best friend vanished without a trace, college student Amanda finally lets rent talk her into taking on a new roommate, Hailey.
The two quickly find they share one ugly thing: men who won't leave them alone. For Amanda it's an ex who keeps circling back; for Hailey it's the father she ran from. Out of that comes a Strangers on a Train sort of bargain — I'll handle your nightmare, you handle mine. Katie Cassidy plays Amanda frayed and close to breaking, Tracy Spiridakos gives Hailey a chilly resolve, and Donal Logue turns up as a piece of the past best left buried.
Director Michael Greenspan boxes the action into a cramped apartment where trust runs out faster than the lease. The real tension isn't the killing itself but the creeping question of who is using whom. A 95-minute psychological thriller for anyone who likes a friendship that curdles into a trap.
