The Jungle

The Jungle (2012) is a Russian comedy directed by Aleksandr Voitinskiy, available to watch online on iFILM. It stars Vera Brezhneva and Sergei Svetlakov as a married couple whose argument-fuelled holiday goes spectacularly wrong.

Sergei and Marina can't stop fighting long enough to agree on anything — except, apparently, that booking an exotic trip mid-row is a sound idea. They end up stranded on a remote island, location-shot in Thailand, with a tribe of warrior natives thrown into the mix. Mikhail Yefremov supports. The film's central joke holds for 80 minutes: the jungle barely registers as a bigger threat than the marriage itself.
