The Astronauts (2020) is a family sci-fi series you can watch online on iFILM. Five kids sneak aboard a spacecraft that's primed for launch, and find themselves trapped inside when it suddenly takes off toward a distant asteroid.

There's no training, no adult to take over, and the onboard AI — a system called Matilda — keeps glitching and obeys their commands only when it feels like it. To get home, the children have to teach themselves how to fly the ship, patch what breaks, and avoid turning on each other inside a cramped capsule. Among the directors is Jonathan Frakes, a familiar name to Star Trek fans, alongside Dean Israelite. Young leads Miya Cech, Bryce Gheisar and Keith L. Williams carry the cast.
