Synopsis
Jesus Christ Vampire Hunter (2001) is a Canadian martial-arts horror comedy you can watch online on iFILM. The Son of God comes back to Earth, but Judgment Day has to wait — a pack of vampires has learned to stroll around in broad daylight, and somebody has to swing first.
Phil Caracas plays a kung-fu Messiah loose in the rough end of Ottawa, where the bloodsuckers are hunting locals for parts. A masked wrestler tags along as muscle, street brawls trade off with the odd exorcism, and every so often the whole thing bursts into a musical number. The budget is pocket change. The cardboard sets and nonstop fistfights are half the joke.
Director Lee Demarbre knew exactly what he was making: loud, dumb on purpose, and proud of it. This is couch-and-friends viewing, the kind of film you talk back to. If deliberately ridiculous B-grade trash is your thing, Jesus Christ Vampire Hunter (2001) is streaming on iFILM.
