Renfield

Renfield (2023) is a horror-comedy you can watch online on iFILM. Director Chris McKay (The Tomorrow War) reimagines the most put-upon figure in vampire mythology: Dracula's centuries-old lackey, who decides he has finally had enough.

Renfield has hauled coffins, wrangled vermin, and absorbed centuries of verbal abuse without a word of thanks. In New Orleans he stumbles into a support group for people trapped in toxic relationships and meets Rebecca, a traffic cop played by Awkwafina. Nicholas Hoult plays Renfield with a jittery, beaten-down sincerity, while Nicolas Cage plays Dracula as a full operatic disaster — every scene he's in runs slightly hotter than physics allows.
