Intuition

Intuition (La corazonada, 2020) is an Argentine crime thriller you can watch online on iFILM. Fresh out of the academy, young officer Manuela "Pipa" Pelari lands a brutal first case: the murder of a nineteen-year-old woman.

Pipa is paired with Francisco Juanes, a seasoned homicide inspector whose reputation is anything but clean. The obvious suspect is the victim's best friend, yet the deeper Pipa digs, the less the easy answer holds. At the same time she has to keep one eye on Juanes himself — another killing hangs over his name. Luisana Lopilato plays Pipa; Joaquín Furriel is the inspector she can't quite trust.

Director Alejandro Montiel built this as a prequel to Perdida, tracing how Pipa first became an investigator. It's a tight, edgy story about a young cop learning that the mentor teaching her the job might be the case.
