Synopsis
U.S. Palmese (2025) is an Italian comedy you can watch online on iFILM, directed by the Manetti Bros. (Marco and Antonio Manetti). In the sun-baked Calabrian town of Palmi, a cheerful retired farmer named Don Vincenzo hatches an unlikely plan: resurrect the local football club by signing Etienne Morville, one of Serie A's most talented and most insufferable players.
Morville, played by Blaise Afonso, leaves the lights of Milan for this sleepy village not by choice but to salvage his public image. What he finds instead of easy PR is a community too genuine to perform for. Rocco Papaleo and Claudia Gerini round out the cast.
