Synopsis

Three years for assaulting a police officer while drunk. The prison governor wants Danny as a coach for the guards' football squad. Danny plays along — then quietly builds his own team from the inmates. The match between cons and screws becomes the one chance to settle a score that has nothing to do with the final score. The film reworks the spirit of the 1974 American original The Longest Yard, transplanting it into the British game.
