Six new episodes in sixteenth-century Seville — stream The Plague Season 2 (La peste, 2019) online on iFILM. The Spanish historical series doesn't repeat itself: where the first season followed Mateo's deal with the Inquisition, the second rotates through fresh stories.

Each episode carries a name — Escalante, Pontecorvo, Eugenia, Conrado — and treats it as its centre of gravity. The season opens on "The New World" and closes on "The Old World," bookending an arc that asks what, exactly, people are running toward or away from. Same corrupted Seville, different lives caught inside its machinery.
