Director Sergio Martino keeps reshuffling the suspects, shooting Greece and the Mediterranean like a glossy postcard someone keeps splashing with blood. Ernesto Gastaldi wrote the script, Bruno Nicolai scored it, and for genre fans this sits among the tightest whodunits of the early 1970s. Good luck calling the killer early.
