Synopsis
Cold Moon (2016) is an American horror-thriller you can watch online on iFILM. Set in the bayou-edged town of Babylon, Florida, the film opens with a young woman's murder — her body dropped into the dark current of the Styx River, the same water that swallowed her parents a decade before.
Suspicion falls on a crooked local banker and his powerful father, played by Josh Stewart and Christopher Lloyd. But the town's real trouble isn't the living: streetlights flicker, coffins push up through cemetery soil, and the dead start showing up where they shouldn't. Based on Michael McDowell's 1980 Southern Gothic novel — McDowell went on to write the Beetlejuice screenplay — director Griff Furst leans into dread over jump scares.
