Howl

Howl (2015) is a British horror film directed by Paul Hyett that you can watch online on iFILM. A late-night commuter train stalls in a dark forest. The driver is dead. Something outside the windows is not interested in leaving.

The passengers — a tired ticket inspector (Ed Speleers), a few commuters, a couple of loudmouths, no natural-born heroes among them — have to figure out how to last until dawn. Shauna Macdonald and Elliot Cowan appear in supporting roles, alongside Sean Pertwee. The creature stays mostly off-screen for the first half, which is the right call: the real pressure comes from watching strangers fail to cooperate while something hunts them one by one.

Hyett spent years doing creature effects before moving to directing, and it shows — the practical design work here is a cut above what a production this size usually gets. A tight, efficient creature feature that does not overstay its 92 minutes. Stream Howl (2015) online on iFILM.
