Synopsis
Kinky Boots: The Musical (2019) is a live stage capture filmed at London's Adelphi Theatre that you can watch online on iFILM. So an unlikely pair gets to work — the buttoned-up heir and the dazzling former boxer in stilettos. Together they have to save the line, win over sceptical workers, and learn to meet each other halfway. Killian Donnelly plays Charlie, while Matt Henry takes Lola, a turn that earned him an Olivier Award.
The story traces back to the 2005 British comedy, itself drawn from a real family firm.
