Synopsis
Project X (2012) is Nima Nourizadeh's comedy you can watch online on iFILM. Three suburban high schoolers plan a low-key birthday party while the parents are away. The goal is simple: get noticed. By dawn, the whole town knows their names.
Shy Thomas (Thomas Mann) just wants a few friends over, but his buddies Costa and JB promise a handful of guests and deliver a mob. Word leaks across social media, and soon hundreds of strangers flood the backyard, the roof, the pool. The film unfolds as found footage shot from inside the chaos, handheld and breathless, so each new disaster lands like it's happening to you. Stopping the night becomes impossible.
Produced by Todd Phillips of The Hangover, the movie captured a wave of late-2000s teen excess and built a cult following on its wall-to-wall soundtrack and word-of-mouth reputation as "that party." Keep an eye out for an early Miles Teller. Stream Project X (2012) online on iFILM.
