Synopsis
Brooklyn 45 (2023) is an American horror-thriller from Ted Geoghegan that you can watch online on iFILM. December 1945, a Brooklyn brownstone: five war veterans gather to support a friend who has just lost his wife.
What starts as drinks and old stories curdles when the host proposes a séance to reach his late spouse. From there the metaphorical ghosts of these people turn literal — the door locks, no one can leave, and the guilt, the lies and the things they did overseas come spilling out. The film is almost entirely one room and seven people in it, carried by talk, paranoia and conscience. Geoghegan wraps a chamber piece about postwar trauma inside a haunted-room setup.
