Paulina is a Buenos Aires lawyer who walks away from a promising career to teach at a disadvantaged high school in her home town — a decision her father, respected judge Fernando, flatly refuses to accept. After a violent attack by a group of local teenagers, everyone expects her to leave. She goes back to work in the same neighbourhood. The film is not really about the assault; it is about the choice to stay, and what that choice does to everyone around her.
