Tanzie and Ava are used to limos, shopping sprees, and paparazzi at the door. Then a scandal hits: their late father's Marchetta cosmetics line is accused of being unsafe, the stock collapses, their accounts freeze, and the mansion burns down. The sisters end up crashing with their own maid in a cramped apartment, doing their own laundry, counting coins, and riding the bus for the first time ever. While they're at it, they set out to prove the accusations were planted and to save their dad's name from a ruthless rival (Anjelica Huston) circling the company.

Hilary and Haylie really are sisters, and that easy chemistry is what carries the whole thing.
